Myma Sloan’s Mini Berry Empanadas

Ingredients:

    Fresh Blackberries (or raspberries, strawberries, etc)
    Fine Sugar to taste
    Pillsbury grands or favorite biscuit recipe
    2 cups of canola oil
    Powdered sugar for dusting
    Favorite vanilla ice cream

Directions:

    Roll biscuit out flat
    Heat oil to 350 F
    Place 3 berries in the middle of biscuit and sprinly fine sugar inside
    Seal outside edges of dough(optional: and press with the back of fork to make empanada edges)
    Dust with powdered sugar and serve with ice cream
