    Esquire magazine columnist John Mariani names the nation’s “Best New Restaurants” every November. It is an honor for a restaurant to be named on this list and it can be a big boost to its business. Mariani is dining around Houston in February hoping to find candidates for his list. He explains his visit to Houston and his thoughts about the city’s restaurants with the diva of dish and radio talk show host, Cleverley Stone.
